About Layla
Twenty years of bringing people together
Layla has spent most of her career in the busy and often politically sensitive world of local government, producing events for council leaders, mayors and chief executives.
She knows how to keep a room full of competing priorities pointing in the same direction. She also knows that the people who really matter are the ones who turn up on the day, so she plans every event around how it will feel for them.
She led Hammersmith and Fulham's response to Operation London Bridge, which earned a commendation on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III. She has produced D‑Day anniversary events with the American and Canadian Ambassadors and welcomed Dame Vanessa Redgrave to the stage for Refugee Week.
As a Superintendent Registrar she conducted hundreds of marriages, including the actor Anna Chancellor's wedding at Pitshanger Manor. Couples have made their vows in front of her at Chelsea Football Club, the Hurlingham Club and Fulham Palace. She also turned a struggling registration service into the best performing in the country, which was recognised by the former Deputy Registrar General.
Today she brings that same care to every client, whether it's a street fayre for 27,000 people or a private weekend in a country house. People often tell her she stays remarkably calm when the pressure is on. That calm comes from being properly prepared.
