Merton's Big Sports Day

Layla was headhunted to launch Merton's year as a Borough of Sport. It began with Merton's Big Sports Day, which brought 5,000 people to Canons House and Grounds in Mitcham for free taster sessions in everything from rugby and tennis to archery and climbing. A press event at the All England Lawn Tennis Club followed. The launch achieved national press coverage and approval from the Mayor of London.
